Gasket Plate heat exchanger is a kind of high efficiency heat exchanger which is made up of a series of metal sheets with certain corrugated shape. Thin rectangular channels are formed between plates and plates, and heat exchange is carried out through the plates. Plate heat exchanger is the ideal equipment for heat exchange between liquid, liquid and steam. The utility model has the advantages of high heat exchange efficiency, small heat loss, compact structure, light weight, small occupation area, wide application, long service life, etc.. Under the same pressure loss, the heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of the tubular heat exchanger, and the floor area is 1/3 of the tubular heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can be as high as 90%.  

But there is disadvantage caused by its limitations,plate heat exchanger is usually working under the pressure maximum 2.5Mpa,as it is easy assembling structure .another point is that pressure drop of plate heat exchanger is high because it's the reason of high heat transfer efficiency.
