Semi-welded PHE features:
●Laser welds that take the pressure
Created with computer-guided precision, the laser-welded seam seals the flow field. In contrast to normally sealed units, the cassette is impervious to aggressive media. Each cassette ensures the strictest safety standards by following a strict quality control procedure.
●Glue-free seals that last longer
Neoprene seals with high chemical resistance are installed at the last welded box joints. The adhesive-free system "hides" these seals in a special groove, minimizing direct contact with the media to extend their service life. The sealing ring also provides a clearing channel and increases stability against thermal tension.
●The technology of separate paths
Plate heat exchangers work on the principle of 100% independent flow paths. The critical medium moves through a sealed welded flow path, transferring heat to the secondary medium in its own conventional sealed path. Without this strict separation, many industrial applications would simply not be possible.
●The advanced flow principle
This innovative geometric flow path creates turbulence in the media flowing through the gap. This results in very efficient heat transfer and minimal pressure drop. Excellent heat transfer even happens at moderate flow rates. Plate types with different heat transfer values are available for different applications.
